Billy Strings has announced summer tour dates, bringing the 2x Grammy Award-winning from Virginia to the Northeast in July and back to his home state of Michigan in late August.

The tour will make a two-day stop at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on July 31 and August 1, marking the first shows for Strings at the historic music venue.
Additional newly confirmed stops include Boston’s Agganis Arena, two nights at Portland’s Cross Insurance Arena, Hartford’s Peoples Bank Arena, and two nights at Ionia’s County Fairgrounds.
The summer tour adds to an already landmark year for Strings, whose most recent full-length album, Highway Prayers, is nominated for Best Bluegrass Album at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards. Produced by Strings and Jon Brion (Fiona Apple, Mac Miller, Aimee Mann) and released via Reprise Records, the album debuted at #1 on Billboard’s all-genre Top Album Sales Chart, the first bluegrass album in 22 years to do so—and continues to receive widespread acclaim, with GQ calling Strings “the hottest roots-music phenomenon in decades” and Pitchfork praising, “the bluegrass wunderkind expands his palette, exploring new textures and emotional registers while staying true to his beloved genre.”

Tickets will be available for pre-sale starting January 28 at 10:00AM local time with general on-sale following on Friday, January 30 at 10:00AM local time. Tickets for the Ionia shows will be available for sale separately on Friday, February 13. To sign up for artist presale, visit billystrings.com/tour.
