There is no other Upstate New York group better equipped to draw the connections between American history and American folk and popular music than Lost Radio Rounders. The trio – Michael Eck, Tom Lindsay and Paul Jossman – present themed musical/historical programs for libraries, museums, and historical societies in New York, Vermont and Massachusetts.
The Lost Radio Rounders featured program for 2026 will be America 250: Songs & Stories, drawing upon music related to America’s struggles and triumphs, to its social, political, and religious movements. Like letters and diaries, songs are first person windows into what people of a particular place and time thought about the world they lived in. History at its most engaging is but a collection of personal stories, and Lost Radio Rounders shall tell some of them.
Starting the first week of January 2026, WEXT will air quarterly (January/April/July/October) Lost Radio Rounders performances of American songs with interviews describing the connections those songs have to historic events or social movements such as abolition, suffrage, temperance, and more.
In person, they’ll perform shows throughout the Capital Region, starting on Tuesday, January 13 as Lost Radio Rounders open the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall Music at Noon Concert Series with the debut of America 250: Songs & Stories.
