West Falls Center for the Arts to Host “The Resilient” in Concert to Benefit Veteran Home Build

West Falls Center for the Arts welcomes The Resilient, an American rock band comprised of severely wounded U.S. combat veterans, on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 7 p.m. This special event is presented in collaboration with A Soldier’s Journey Home, a non-profit organization dedicated to constructing homes for severely wounded veterans.

the Resilient

The Resilient music reflects the intense inspirations and hardships experienced during both their military service and civilian lives. Known for blending raw honesty with passionate artistry, The Resilient delivers a show that is both emotionally moving and musically electrifying. The concert series marks a significant moment for the local community as A Soldier’s Journey Home brings over 100 volunteers from across the country to West Falls.

These volunteers will dedicate two weeks constructing a fully furnished, barrier-free home for local military veteran Nathan and his wife, Veronica. The build is entirely volunteer-driven, with participants volunteering their personal time to ensure every dollar raised benefits the recipient directly.

“We work with local veterans by providing free harmonica, ukulele, and guitar lessons each week, so we understand how important music is to our community. We are very grateful to host The Resilient and add our support to the great work of A Soldier’s Journey Home. We hope all local veterans join us in this meaningful opportunity for our community to come together,” said Carolyn Panzica, Executive Director of West Falls Center for the Arts.

The band will perform two shows during their visit. The first performance on May 29 will be an exclusive event for the volunteers of A Soldier’s Journey Home. The second performance on Saturday, May 30, invites the general public to celebrate the completion of the home build and support this vital cause.

Todd Hatfield of A Soldier’s Journey Home expressed excitement about the partnership. “It feels so special that it has worked out this way. Your generosity will help make this an unforgettable evening as we celebrate the completion of Nathan and Veronica’s home and the beginning of their next chapter.”

Tickets for the public performance are available now. Your participation helps us support veterans and strengthens our community bonds. For tickets and additional information about the event, please visit here.
