Australia’s Cut Copy came to Buffalo’s Electric City on November 20.
After a 5 year hiatus, the Grammy nominated group is touring in support of their new album, Moments.
The show was a mix of old vs. new, as songs from their debut, In Ghost Colours edged out the songs from the new album by a few.
The band seemed to not have lost a step, as they tore through their catalogue, the crowd was eating up their synth pop sounds. Dan Whitford (vocals, synths), Ben Browning (bass), and Mitchell Scott (drums) kept the room dancing and turned Electric City into an indie club for the night.
Cut Copy’s U.S. tour has wrapped up, but they are most likely going to be back to the states in the summer to hit the festival circuit.
