Singer-songwriter Ani DiFranco is releasing a new book, The Spirit of Ani, written with cultural anthropologist Lauren Coyle Rosen.

Building on her memoir No Walls and the Recurring Dream, DiFranco discusses topics including gender and queer politics, the music industry, and climate change. The book also includes unpublished photos, journal entries, song drafts, paintings, and lyrics.

Lauren wanted to talk about my creative process and, more specifically, about its spiritual dimension – and so we did. I hope this book with be of some use to other seekers on the paths of feminism, spirituality, and creativity.
