Following the success of her hit song “Strange,” soul and R&B musician Celeste returns with a new single, “Time Will Tell,” in anticipation of her upcoming album, Woman Of Faces.
With the record releasing on November 14, “Time Will Tell” assures listeners that Celeste is in her true form, illustrating her sonorous vocals while maintaining her hard-hitting lyrics.
“Time Will Tell” begins with somber guitar strums, a striking opposition to Celeste’s bold and vivid vocals. Despite the instrumentals and vocals being on opposite sides of the spectrum, the two are united by the strong string instrumentals. As Celeste’s voice heightens, the track’s accompanying string only amplifies the musician’s powerful vocal prowess.
While the lyrics in “Strange” hit on a harder theme of heartbreak, “Time Will Tell” tackles a broader theme of how it takes time to heal; that it is in no one’s control how we should heal. Hardships will ultimately “give us what we want or what we need,” whether that’s emotional maturity or the will to create.

Woman of Faces will feature nine songs, including the previously released singles “On With The Show,” “This Is Who I Am,” and the title track, “Woman Of Faces.” Born from a slowly dissolving relationship and her will to come out stronger, Woman Of Faces is a capsule shaped by pain but also an unwavering determination to persist when everything seemed to be collapsing.
