Lazlo Hollyfeld to Perform at UBCFA Art in the Open

On October 30, the University at Buffalo Center for the Arts (UBCFA) is holding Art in the Open on from 5–8 p.m. The annual event is free and open to everyone.

Attendees can check out vibrant live performances, dazzling exhibitions, open studios, and installations by UB students and faculty.

Lazlo Hollyfeld to Perform at UBCFA Art in the Open

Buffalo-based band Lazlo Hollyfeld will perform at 7 p.m. in the Atrium. Known for their experimental and instrumental sound, Lazlo Hollyfeld was the first band featured on “Music is Art Live @ the Center,” a TV series that recorded performances at the UBCFA and featured Western New York musicians and visual artists, holding unique significance to the Center’s history.

Performances from UB’s Theatre and Dance, Music, Media Study, Arts Management, and Art programs will also be showcased. UB Art Galleries will have exhibitions on view, including Martha Jackson in Paris and Bits by Bits. Studios and labs will be open so visitors can meet artists and see where they work.
