Mushroomhead Storm Anthology

On October 15, Mushroomhead stormed into Anthology for a theatrical, wet and wild ride. Filling the night with the fundamentals that made the band iconic in the 1990’s: raw lyrics, down-tuned syncopation, horror avant-garde, and atmospheric elements, manufacturing a perfect Halloween experience for any metal enthusiast.

Loyal fans from all ages squeezed to the front of the blockade with cameras in hand, and excited auras. Sharing stories of previous shows with new friends, and anxiously eyeing for movement on stage. The room softened into a hush as darkness engulfed the scenery, haze filled the air, and thunderous percussion reverberated water on tightened skins. Water droplets danced before devilish masks, smoke guns, and crowd surfing fun. Raining polished technical skills and raw metal through atmospheric tension.

While Numetal may no longer be new to the music scene, Mushroomhead still makes the experience feel exciting. Utilizing their monstrous stage presence, high energy and all eight group members to keep momentum building in intensity till the tension is ready to be released. Making the evening not only a thrilling ride but a full sensory manifestation to whiteness.
