Jared Pauley Quartet to Play Mt. Kisco’s Jazz on Main

New Rochelle-based jazz pianist Jared Pauley and his Quartet are set to perform at Mt. Kisco, NY’s Jazz on Main on October 16 at 7:00 p.m.

Jared Pauley Quartet

The Jared Pauley Quartet may be a jazz band, but that doesn’t stop them from experimenting with a variety of genres in their music. Their jazz tunes are said to be “electric inspired” with contemporary influences, such as funk, Latin, and Brazilian music. The band will be playing songs from Pauley’s most recent release, Galaxies, which you can purchase the vinyl record of at the show.

The quartet plays all throughout New York City and southern Westchester County, though this performance will mark their first venture at Mt. Kisco’s Jazz on Main. Jazz on Main is a fully immersive, “Old Soul jazz club,” complete with live music, lighting experiences, and top-notch food, all of which are said to “elevate the spirit.”

Jared Pauley is a keyboardist and composer based out of Westchester County. He acquired his jazz piano expertise from pianist Bob Thompson and late pianist and composer Jay Flippin at Marshall University. Beyond working with his own quartet, Pauley has also played with other accomplished musicians, including drummers Daru Jones (Jack White, Black Milk) and Mike Clark (Herbie Hancock) and trumpeters Arturo Sandoval & Duane Eubanks.

For his work with the Jared Pauley Quartet, Pauley’s piano is accompanied by Adam Hutcheson on the alto sax, Bob Gingery on the acoustic bass, and Greg Germann on the drums. All three are based in New York City, with several accolades to each of their names: Hutcheson played lead alto in the Grammy-winning One O’Clock Lab Band, Gingery moved to NYC from San Francisco, CA and has played with Eliot Zigmund, Joe Beck, Buddy Williams, and more, and Germann also works as a film composer, having composed for national tours of Broadway shows like “Wicked” and “Grease.”
