This year’s Rochester Cajun Zydeco Network (RCZN) Fall Series is bringing Creole’s vibrant Zydeco genre up north to Rochester starting this September.
For over 20 years, RCZN has been hosting monthly music and dance events at the historic Harmony House, first built in 1899. Since its start, RCZN has cultivated a warm, inviting dance community, gathering attendees for a time to hang, chat, laugh, and dance.

On September 26, Curley Taylor and Zydeco Trouble roll in from Grand Coteau, Louisiana, bringing their signature sound. Rooted in the rich traditions of his heritage yet inspired by Zydeco legends, Curley has carved his own path with grace, charm, and an irresistible syncopated groove. Advanced tickets will be priced at $20 and $25 for day-of-show tickets. Student tickets will be priced at $10 with a student ID.
Ithaca’s Heavy Bone and the Good Time Zydeco Band will be performing on October 18. With each member having grown up listening and dancing to the greats like Preston and Keith Frank, the band has possessed the real Zydeco deal at the Grassroots Festival in Trumansburg.
Distinguished Cajun fiddler and vocalist Brandon Moreau will team up with the Butter Bean String Band on November 8, while C’est Bon Cajun Dance Band will be performing a special annual RCZN’s Holiday Show on December 8.
