Jessie Murph Packs Outer Harbor Live at Terminal B

Buffalo’s waterfront set the perfect scene for Jessie Murph’s stop at Outer Harbor Live at Terminal B. With a cool breeze coming off Lake Erie and just a hint of fall in the air, the nearly 5,000 fans in attendance couldn’t have asked for a better night to gather for live music.

A certain energy surged over the crowd when the feisty 4’11” singer took the stage, completely decked out in ’60s garb. Known for her emotionally raw songs that blend pop, country, and R&B influences, Murph delivered a performance that was both soulful and intimate. Her voice carried effortlessly over the breeze, filling the harborfront with a mix of vulnerability and strength. Fans sang along word-for-word to favorites like “Sip” and “Blue Strips,” their voices echoing across the water to Canada.

Murph’s stage presence was magnetic—alternating between fierce confidence and genuine connection with the audience. She paused at moments to reflect with fans, making the large crowd feel like a close gathering of friends. Her authenticity is something that she’s always been known for, but confidence is something that she has admittedly struggled with. There wasn’t a seeming doubt in this performance, though.

As the night went on, the crowd swayed, sang, and lit up the waterfront with their phones held high. At one point, a young fan who was much taller than everyone him, had collected 5 different phones from friends that were nearby.  He was made the “camera man” for the night, since he was able to get a clear shot of the stage over the heads in front of him.

The evening kicked off with rising rapper Indiana rapper Jorjiana, who brought high energy to the stage and set the tone with a confident, engaging set. Her punchy delivery and charisma warmed up the crowd and had people moving early on, building anticipation for the headliner.

Jessie Murph followed up her Buffalo performance with a record-night at the New York State Fair in Syracuse. Her “Worldwide Hysteria The Tour” continues in New York City, Washington D.C. and Boston, before heading to Toronto heading into September.
