New York City electronic post-punk band Public Circuit released their latest single, “To The Grave,” capturing both a shine and crash as the band reels against the parts of themselves they refuse to push back down.

“To The Grave” showcases a piece of the melancholic electro-pop listeners can expect to see in their upcoming record Modern Church. The album is set to release in full on September 12 via à La Carte Records.
An official visual was released alongside the single that follows the band digging their own graves, while employing their signature Medieval elements throughout. The visual appears like a glitched out home video.
Life is frail – Many people live a life where they never fully resolve trauma, hatred, etc., and therefore, take it to the grave with them. Whether it be childhood trauma, gender expression/exploration, or failed romances; this song is inspired by moments left unresolved or, otherwise, unspoken.

Earlier this month, the band announced their second LP with the release of “Samson.” The song was named after the character of Abrahamic mythology, known for superhuman strength and a betrayal that led to his downfall. The track took aim at fragile masculinity. It received early nods from Notion, Hard of Hearing, Soundsystem and more.
On Modern Church, Public Circuit will both dismantle and reassemble post-punk to create something sharper, darker, and entirely their own. A newfound sense of collaboration among all three members enhances the record that channels a harsh pulse of electronic instrumentation and raw percussive rhythms combined with “sophisiti-pop.” Ultimately, creating a sound that is both equal in ritual and revolution.
The album is openly religious in theme– a tactic used to explore sexual identity, the fleeting faith of society and illicit repercussions of unresolved trauma.

Public Circuit continues to drive the genre of electronic music forward within society. The trio got its start in early 2023 and members Ethan Biamont, Sean Holloway and Nelson Fisher make up the band.
Public Circuit is influenced by the constant feed of noise NYC delivers. By channeling these emotions into explosive energy, the band commits to live up to the historical behemoth of NYC music as their sphere of influence expands.
Following the release of their debut album, Lamb, in 2024, the band went on the road with sold-out shows across 30 states, including festival performances at New Colossus, Hopscotch and MACROCK.
This coming Fall, the band will set out on their newly announced U.S. and European tour. While in Berlin, they will join the lineup of 8mm Festival alongside. A Place To Bury Strangers and Snapped Ankles. In the Netherlands, they will play the Left Of The Dial festival. Tickets for the upcoming tour are on sale now.
“To The Grave” is available on all streaming platforms and Modern Church is available for pre-order.
