Set in an enchanting forest, the video captures the transformation that unfolds when one chooses to focus on the beautiful, simple moments of life, and how doing so can quietly shift one’s entire outlook. As sunlight filters in through trees and time seems to slow, dancers from the LOOSE KANON DANCE company move organically, reflecting these little moments of happiness in a creative way.

Singer-songwriter and producer, Olivia Reid is one of those rare talents that blends multi-layered production techniques and heartbreaking lyricism to create a complexity of evocative pop sounds that’s unlike any other music coming out.

Reid blends multilayered production and heartfelt lyricism to create a uniquely sonic world. Her production style joins genre-bending peers such as Sylvan Esso, Florence & The Machine, and Maggie Rogers. Her songs contain tempos that mirror the pace of a steady heartbeat and lyrics that articulate the most intimate parts of the human experience.

Reid’s performances have connected with audiences around the world, from opening for artists such as Slenderbodies, Giant Rooks, and AJ Mitchell to electronic collaborations such as “Time is Mine” with Kidswaste and “Above the Clouds” with SŸDE – a track with over 30 million streams and a gold record certification in Australia.

Following her debut EP Earth Water in 2021, Reid captured audiences with her 2023 project TO BE NAMED BY THE PEOPLE, which gained praise from leading music blogs and landing on DSP playlists including Apple Music’s Happy Pop, Spotify’s Folk ArcInfinite FolkFemme Fatale, and Noteable Releases.

Now, Space to Roam marks the beginning of a new creative chapter. Co-produced by Olivia Reid herself alongside Tim Atlas, So Wylie, and Benji Cormack of Slenderbodies and featuring fan favorite singles “Love Don’t Leave” and “Quite Simple,” the project shows a more intimate side of Reid’s artistry and encapsulates the weeks Reid spent songwriting in Poland’s countryside. It has already resonated globally, landing on curated playlists such as Spotify’s Fresh Finds and Noteable, Apple Music’s Pop Latte and Breakfast in Bed, and Tidal’s Folk: Rising.

The EP will be released on September 5, 2025, and is now available to pre-save. With Space to Roam, Olivia Reid welcomes listeners into a sonic world of calm reflection, emotional honesty, and transformation.
