The Sembrich continues its summer festival with three concerts featuring mezzo-soprano Rosario Armas, violinist Ruben Rengel, and pianist Ahmed Alom. These performers have appeared at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and other major venues and will bring a mix of classical and Latin American music to Bolton Landing from July 30 to August 2.

The lineup kicks off July 30 at 2 p.m. with “A Latin American Musical Tour” under the lakeside tent at The Sembrich. Expect music from Venezuela, Cuba, Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil, blending vibrant rhythms and rich melodies.
On July 31 at 11 a.m., the artists will team up with the World Awareness Children’s Museum for a free family friendly concert at the Charles R. Wood Theater in nearby Glens Falls. The program introduces kids to the musical and cultural traditions of Latin America.
The residency closes August 2 at 7 p.m. in the historic Sembrich Studio with “Undiscovered Gems of the Gilded Age.” The program highlights lesser-known classical works from America’s Gilded Age, including pieces by local composer Henry Holden Huss.

The Flonzaley Residency is named after the Flonzaley Quartet, a renowned early 1900s string group dedicated to perfecting their craft. Each year, The Sembrich invites emerging musicians to spend a week rehearsing and performing in this inspiring lakeside setting.
The Sembrich combines music, history, and nature. It was once the teaching studio of Polish soprano Marcella Sembrich and now offers museum exhibits, concerts, practice, trails, and more.
