The Lake George Arts Project continues their 2025 Summer Concert Series with an evening filled with rock and soul, as Tops of Trees takes the stage on Wednesday, July 23, at Shepard Park.

Based in the Capital Region, Tops of Trees has made a mark on the area with their dynamic blend of drum and bass rhythms, vintage organ grooves, powerful vocals, and a bold horn section rooted in funk, soul, and early R&B.
The band’s 2023 debut EP, The Tree House Sessions, earned acclaim on WEXT, WEQX, and Unsigned 518, and secured placements on WEXT’s “Local Songs of the Year.” They were further recognized with back-to-back nominations for “Jam Band of the Year” at the Capital Region Thomas Edison Awards (“The Eddie’s”).
Tops of Trees has shared stages with notable acts like Blues Traveler, Joan Osborne, and Ben Folds, and were spotlighted on WMHT’s PBS show AHA! This summer, the band has been lighting up stages across the region with energetic live performances. Each show creates not just a groove-heavy sound for audiences, but a full and unforgettable musical experience.

Their Lake George show coincides with the release of their new single, “Upstate.” The song is a heartfelt letter to upstate New York from the band’s creative force, Damian Ubriaco— telling a story that grows with each musical layer added.
The concert is set for Wednesday, July 23, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Shepard Park, Canada Street, Lake George, NY. Admission is free and attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs, blankets, families, and friends.
