With Phish closing out their 2025 Summer Tour at SPAC this coming weekend, phans looking for live music before and after the shows don’t have to look far. Just a 10 minute drive (without concert traffic) down Route 9 to Nanola, Albany jam band Hilltop will be playing before and after Phish on Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26.
Pre shows will begin at 3pm and wrap up at 5pm, giving plenty of time to get up to SPAC. Post shows will start at 11:30 pm and run late until 2:00am.

Hilltop has been performing since 2018, recently opening for Eggy at Cohoes Music Hall, supporting Dogs in a Pile at Putnam Place, plus with festival slots at Dead of Summer, Barefoot Music Festival and Fencepost Festival, and an end of summer show coming up on August 23 at the Riverboat Bar in Alexandria Bay.
With the final shows of Phish tour lined up, if you find yourself in Saratoga Springs for a weekend and looking to fill the day with as much live music as you can, get warmed up with Hilltop at Nanola.
