Art D’Echo Trio Enchants at Jazz on Jay

Local jazz group Art D’Echo Trio played a 90 minute set at Jay Square in Schenectady on Thursday, July 17.

Art D’Echo’s style provided interesting contrapuntals and other interesting arrangements in their mix of originals and covers in a jazz trio format. Musicians David Gleason (piano), Michael Lawrence, (bass) and Pete Sweeney (drums) are all music educators and provided extra enrichment by telling stories regarding the background and inspiration of the tunes.
