Freewheeling troubadour camp, Camp What The Folk is bringing three days of community, nature, music and more to the Catskill mountains.

September 2 through 5, Todd Snider’s third annual Camp What The Folk comes to Full Moon Resort in Big Indian. Featured artists at this year’s camp, titled camp counselors, include critically acclaimed country singer-songwriter Elizabeth Cook, lead singer and guitarist of rock band Drivin N Cryin Kevin Kinney and “indie folk grit” singer-songwriter, guitarist and record producer Aaron Lee Tasjan.
“At Camp What The Folk, I will take you inside my creative process and share how I write songs—start to finish. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to sharpen your craft, this is a rare chance to learn directly from a working troubadour’s approach to songwriting,” said Snider on Camp What The Folk. “I’ll break down the influences that shaped my style, the tools I’ve picked up along the way, and the songwriting method that’s consistently led me to at least one great song a year.”

Camp What The Folk offers something for both music lovers and music makers alike. Opportunities such as hands-on workshops, intimate performances, mentorship and open mics will be available for musicians to partake in, while attendees can enjoy the mountain views, endless amenities of Full Moon Resort and live performances.
Each evening, the camp will feature up-close performances from Todd Snider and a specially curated lineup of guest artists chosen by Snider himself.

Comprehensive packages offering a wide variety of options including lodging, meals, workshops, performances and more are currently available for purchase here.
