Music Icon Shania Twain is using her nationwide tour to fight hunger, donating to local food banks at every stop. During her performance on July 19 at the Darien Lake Amphitheater, FeedMore WNY will receive a $25,000 donation, enough to provide meals to more than 7,000 people.
This donation highlights the Shania Twain Foundation’s commitment and Twain’s deep passion to end hunger across the nation.

The impact of the donation will be felt by thousands of individuals and families facing food insecurity in the region. FeedMore WNY has seen a steady increase in demand for its services over the past year.
At the Shania Twain Foundation, we believe everyone deserves access to nutritious food. These donations to FeedMore WNY will provide direct support in Western New York. We can make a meaningful impact across the country by helping to ensure that food banks are well stocked and, in turn, uplift people in every city we visit this summer.
Shania Twain, founder of the Shania Twain Foundation
Founded by music icon and humanitarian Shania Twain, the Shania Twain Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families facing poverty and food insecurity. The foundation supports programs across North America that provide access to food, education, mental well-being and other essential resources for underserved communities.
FeedMore WNY is grateful for this generous donation from the Shania Twain Foundation, which will enable us to provide nutritious food and vital support for our Western New York neighbors experiencing food insecurity. The need for food assistance in our community continues to grow; last year alone FeedMore WNY served more than 165,000 individuals, including children, working families, veterans, people with disabilities and older adults. Thanks to the support of partners like Shania Twain, we can continue our mission of providing dignity, hope and brighter futures for our neighbors in need.
Cait Evans, Chief Development Officer for FeedMore WNY
The foundation’s goal is to develop strategic partnerships and provide funding and grants that will support under-resourced organizations in their efforts to lift the most vulnerable in their communities.
