My Morning Jacket To Celebrate 20 Years of ‘Z’ in Brooklyn

My Morning Jacket will mark the 20th anniversary of their critically acclaimed album Z with special performances in New York this fall. The Louisville-based band will play the album in full at Brooklyn’s Paramount Theatre from October 16-18 as part of the second leg of their ongoing tour.

Z, released in 2005, quickly became a defining album for My Morning Jacket, praised worldwide for its innovative mix of musical styles and heartfelt songwriting. This year, the band continues to push creative boundaries with their latest release, “is,” their first full-length album in more than three years. Produced by acclaimed Grammy-winning producer Brendan O’Brien, the record showcases the Louisville group’s growth and experimentation, featuring standout tracks like “Time Waited,” “Half A Lifetime,” and “Squid Ink,” which highlights their evolving sound and artistic vision.

New Yorkers can catch the band at the Paramount Theatre in Brooklyn from October 16 to 18. Tickets are available now for the shows, which are part of a larger national tour celebrating two decades of Z and the band’s ongoing creative journey.
