Mini Festival Sunday Funday comes to Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn on July 13, promising a full day of assorted entertainment. This all-day event is set to feature a diverse lineup of New York-based and national performers spanning various genres, from rock and funk to jazz and soul. Taking the Sunday Funday stage will be the presenter of this event, The Specialists, plus the The Noah Pierre Band, Chris Anderson, Abbie Roper and Ernie & The Band.

The Specialists are a NY-based dance-rock collective formed in 2017. Leading the group is guitarist Billy Harden and bassist Mikey Rotunno. Harden and Rotunno split the vocal duties of the group, as well as the songwriting duties.
The Noah Pierre Band is a collective of rising musicians coming to Sunday Funday from the DMV area, the metropolitan region that encompasses Washington, D.C. and parts of Maryland and Virginia. With strong influences from the jazz, soul and rock genres, The Noah Pierre Band features Noah Pierre on guitar and vocals, Ricky Jefferson on keys, Oliver Unger on bass and Jordon Stanley on drums. The group recently released an EP titled You Live Here.

Chris Anderson is a drummer, songwriter and producer based in Brooklyn. Anderson released his debut album, a 15-track jazz record titled Smile While You Can in 2020 and has continued his music career by playing shows and writing songs throughout his hometown of Brooklyn.

Also performing at Sunday Funday is alternative/indie artist Abbie Roper, whose musical prowess spans the indie and rock genres through her songs “lillies,” “we’ll be alright,” and “drift.” Roper also performs with her indie/punk rock band, bois.

Ernie & The Band blends rock, funk and blues throughout their original and entirely unique music. This four-piece Long-Island based group formed in 2017 and has cultivated an immersive performance experience for audience members through extended improvisations and spontaneous jams that set the band apart.

Various creators, vendors and performance artists will also be at Sunday Funday in WIlliamsburg, with even more performers set to be announced soon.
