Adirondack Independence Music Festival Announces Lineup for 10th Anniversary Celebration

The Adirondack Independence Music Festival has revealed this year’s musical lineup as it prepares to celebrate its 10 year anniversary. Once again, moe. will serve as this year’s headliner with two nights of much and will be joined by a host of other notable acts like Pigeons Playing Ping Pong who will play two sets. The festival is set to return to Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George from Friday, August 29 through Sunday, August 31.

Other highlights of this year’s Adirondack Festival lineup include slide-guitar master Robert Randolph and acclaimed Talking Heads tribute Start Making Sense with the Ocean Avenue Stompers Horns.
Funk icon, and founding member of The Meters, George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners are also set to perform, as well as jam powerhouses Spafford and Neighbor and the soulful Ryan Montbleau Band.

Also set to appear are Bumpin Uglies, LaMP (featuring Russ Lawton, Scott Metzger, Ray Paczkowski), bob. An Interpretation of Bob Dylan songs (featuring Al Schnier & Vinnie Amico of moe.), Bearly Dead, Annie in the Water, The Big Takeover, Sicard Hollow, Creamery Station, Ghosts of Jupiter, Johnny Mullenax, Organ Fairchild, Leon Trout and Sly Fox and The Husters, with one more band still yet to be announced.

In addition to all the great music, the festival will also feature a variety of food and craft vendors
as well a great view of the Lake George fireworks on Saturday evening. Music at the festival kicks off at 1pm on Friday and 12:00pm on Saturday and Sunday, running continuously across two side-by-side stages until 11pm each night.
