The NBT Bank summer concert series returns to Norwich, NY this season for four weeks of live music events. The series starts on July 3 through Aug. 28 at 7 p.m.
Located at East Park, Norwich, the NBT Bank summer concert series shows are free to attend with food trucks and a beer garden at the park.
Starting out the season GRAMMY award winning artist Buckwheat Zydeco Jr. will play roots music from his extensive catalogue. Zydeco Jr. grew up in a musical family, surrounded by the inspirations of his father Stanley “Buckwheat” Dural, Sr. who is best known for bringing zydeco, the traditional music of Black Louisiana, to a mass audience.
Rising blues and R&B band The California Honeydrops will take the East Park stage on July 31. Known for their songs “When it Was Wrong” and “All Day, All Night,” the five piece band creates a warm sound with rich vocals and a horn section.
