Ballard Park’s annual Summer Concert Series returns to Westport this July, bringing six weeks of free live music to the Adirondacks. Concerts take place Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. from July 10 through August 14 at the park’s lakeside pavilion, overlooking Lake Champlain.

This year’s lineup features a mix of regional and international talent, including folk duo Cold Chocolate, Ugandan-led global fusion band Zikina, and South Bronx-born jazz trumpeter Ray Vega. Performers span genres from Americana and bluegrass to Afro-Caribbean jazz and string chamber music, with artists coming from across New England, Quebec, and upstate New York.
Located in the heart of Westport, Ballard Park has become a go-to summer venue for locals and visitors. Audiences are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for hillside seating. Food will be available for purchase from Winton’s Tavern at the park’s warming hut. In case of rain, updates will be posted online.
The concert series is free and open to all. Check out their website for more information and updates.
