Kicking off Capitol Groove on June 28 is New York based psychedelic soul band Ghost Funk Orchestra, followed by alternative/indie group Improvement Movement, which features a rotating crew of Atlanta musicians and funk and alternative pop band Ripe. Also taking the stage is roots reggae band Steel Pulse, R&B/soul group Thee Sacred Souls, jazz, funk and Hip Hop synthesizer and Grammy award winner Thundercat, with headliner Khruangbin rounding out the night.

Continuing the festivities on June 29 is four-piece indie group Spectre Jones, indie rock band The Greeting Committee, and blues, R&B and roots legend in the making Fantastic Negrito. Also performing is eight-piece soul band St. Paul & The Broken Bones and alternative/indie group Sammy Rae & The Friends, with headliners CAKE and Bleachers closing out Capitol Groove.

Making its debut at Capitol Groove this year is the Telefunken Stage, which features performances from both emerging and established artists, including folk/Americana singer-songwriter RJ McCarty, gospel, Hip Hop and jazz triple threat Dwayne Keith Project, electrifying progressive rock band One Time Weekend, and many more.

The Telefunken Stage expands the classic festival experience with food and beverage vendors serving up some delicious cuisine from not just across the state, but the region as well.
