FIFA Fan Festival NYNJ To Kick Off World Cup Countdown

With just one year left until the FIFA 2026 World Cup descends upon New York and New Jersey, the NYNJ host has announced that Liberty State Park will be the official site of the region’s FIFA Fan Festival NYNJ.

A total of eight FIFA World Cup Games will be held in the New York New Jersey Stadium, better known as Metlife Stadium, including the highly anticipated Final Match which is watched by FIFA fans across the globe.

With its picturesque view overlooking iconic New York landmarks like the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, Liberty State Park will serve as the World Cup’s beating heart for FIFA fans with the FIFA Fan Festival NYNJ.

The festival will span the 39-day tournament from June 11 to July 19, 2026. Tens of thousands of fans can visit the festival for real-time match broadcasts, an impressive lineup of live entertainment from national talents, and a variety of interactive activities.

“The FIFA Fan Festival NYNJ will be the largest and most visible fan experience of the entire tournament,” said NYNJ Host Committee CEO Alex Lasry. “Liberty State Park offers a landmark setting and reflects the scale and energy of the region. This isn’t just about watching matches, it’s about celebrating the game, showcasing what makes NYNJ special, and creating lasting impact for our communities, partners, and millions of fans.”

But the World Cup festivities don’t stop when the matches do. On non-match days, coined “Rest Days”, FIFA Fan Festival NYNJ will host a series of concerts to continue the celebrations.

Lineups for all concerts are set to be announced in the coming weeks, and tickets will soon be available for purchase here.
