Troy Savings Bank Music Hall’s free Summer Square series returns with a season of outdoor shows. The concert runs from June 21 through Sept. 20 on Saturdays at 6 p.m.
Located on 2nd Street in front of Troy Savings Bank Music Hall in Troy, NY, the series will showcase a diverse lineup of local talent.
Starting out the Summer Square series on June 21, Make Music Day with Troy Samba, a percussion performance group based in Troy will play Brazilian batería music.
From Latham, NY, Aiva and Hayley will perform covers from different genres and original music on July 5. The singer-songwriters are now attending Berklee College of Music in Boston.
On July 12, OM Q will perform spiritually energetic songs, connecting healing sound with the audience. After over 15 years of performing, OM Q’s larger than life vocals paired with poignant lyrics express the highs and lows of American life.
Dust Bowl Faeries fuse music like a witch making a potion. With dark cabaret and gothic polka music, these woodland influenced artists from Hudson Valley will make magic at the Summer Square series on July 26.
Triskele, the Capital Region’s premier all-female Celtic band known for their stunning harmonies and Irish wit will perform on Sept. 6. To close out the season on Sept. 20, the Christine Spero Group from Albany blend jazz, Latin, world music and pop for a signature sound.
