The Glens Falls Symphony presents the 24th annual Independence Day Summer Pops Concert, which will be held in Crandall Park on July 3 at 7:30 p.m.

This annual event is free for all and open to the public, and visitors are encouraged to come early with blankets to spread and chairs to set up to comfortably enjoy the festivities.
The Summer Pops Concert begins at 5:30 p.m., with pre-concert activities including a Youth Art experience with local arts organizations and an antique car show. Food and beverage vendors are also available for visitors starting at 5 p.m. and are open through the concert events.
The Glens Falls Symphony will be performing a variety of classic Independence Day songs throughout the concert, including “Star Spangled Banner”, “Yankee Doodle” and “Hands Across the Sea”. After a brief intermission, the Glens Falls Symphony will take the stage again to perform songs “My Country Tis of Thee”, “God Bless America”, “Stars and Stripes Forever”, and many more.

Military veterans and their families will be specially honored in a traditional performance of the “Armed Forces Salute”. Veterans and their families will be encouraged to stand and receive acknowledgment for their services from the crowd as the Glens Falls Symphony plays the various anthems of military branches; including the U.S. Army, Coast Guard, Marines, Air Force and Navy.
After a full night of festivities, the Summer Pops Concert will close out at dusk with a fireworks show.
