Albany County is filling this summer with a schedule of free concerts running from June through August. These events are a perfect way to spend time with communities at parks and small amphitheatres this summer. Albany County free summer concerts feature a variety of genres from classical and jazz to rock and punk.

Alive at Five
Alive at Five at Tricentennial Park in Albany is a free concert series taking place from 5-8 p.m. Thursday nights. For more information, click here.

Rock the Block is a free concert series held Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Canal Square (72 Remsen Street) in Cohoes. The schedule is as follows:

Guilderland
Guilderland Performing Arts Center (GPAC) at Tawasentha Park in Guilderland will host free concerts this summer with tiered bench seating in front of the stage and a level patio for lawn chairs, wheelchairs and dancing.
