NEMS Brings the Bing Bong Energy to S.O.B.’s in Explosive NYC Show

On Thursday, May 29th, Gorilla NEMS turned up the heat at S.O.B.’s in NYC with a gritty, high-energy performance that proved why he remains one of the city’s most authentic voices. Hosted by radio personality Pretty Lou, the night brought a stacked lineup, surprise guests, and a whole lot of Coney Island flavor.

Kicking things off, Little Dee opened the show and set the tone early. He ran through a set that included his new track “Popular” and the standout “Dream,” where he gave Wu-Tang Clan’s “C.R.E.A.M.” a modern trap twist that hit hard with the crowd.

Next up, Technician the DJ jumped on for a solo set, running through a rapid-fire medley of street anthems and classics that kept the energy high and the crowd moving.

Keen Streetz followed, delivering a rugged set that included fan-favorites like “Razor and Scale” and “Never Slip.” His raw delivery and street-centric bars added even more fuel to the fire.

Then, longtime NYC staple D-Stroy hit the stage to introduce the man of the hour, Gorilla NEMS.

Fresh off the release of his new album America’s Sweetheart, NEMS stormed the stage with that signature “Fuck Ya Life” energy. He ran through tracks off the new project and made sure to bring the crowd back with bangers like “Bing Bong” and “Don’t Ever Disrespect Me.”

The surprises didn’t stop there. NEMS brought out a few heavy hitters throughout his set, including Millyz, Tony Touch, Leeky Bandz, and OT the Real — each adding their own flavor and keeping the crowd hyped.

It was a night of bars, borough pride, and no-filter energy. NEMS once again proved why he’s a king in the concrete jungle.
