The Beacon Theatre lit up as the October Nights: Calling All Lovers Tour made its New York City stop on Sunday, May 25. Co-headlined by October London and Tamar Braxton, the tour delivered a night of passion, powerhouse vocals, and nostalgic vibes. Joining them were soulful openers Joe Leone and Ro James, with the 24-city tour powered by The Black Promoters Collective.

Ro James wasted no time electrifying the stage. With fan-favorite tracks like “Permission” and his latest release, “Platonic,” Ro brought a magnetic presence in his suit and baseball cap. The crowd sang every word, swept up in his emotional delivery and stage energy.
Tamar Braxton followed and instantly commanded the room. Celebrating the 10th anniversary of her Calling All Lovers album, she delivered hit after hit with raw intensity and emotion. When Tamar took the reins on the final chorus, her powerhouse vocals sent chills through the arena. She was captivating, vulnerable, and in total control.
October London closed the night in style, bringing a timeless soul vibe with a modern edge. Channeling Marvin Gaye with his sharp look and smooth swagger, he performed with a richness that felt both classic and current. October’s voice is effortlessly vintage, pulling the audience into another era while keeping them grounded in the now.
