Tanglewood, the historic venue in Western Massachusetts, announced its 2025 summer lineup. The season will offer a range of music styles and forms for each performance.
Running from June 20 through Aug. 31, Tanglewood will feature artists like Jon Batiste, James Taylor, Barenaked Ladies, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bonnie Raitt.

Since 1936, Tanglewood has presented audiences with artistically excellent performances in the Berkshires in Lennox, MA. Though home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Tanglewood offers a wide range of genres including jazz, pop, R&B, folk and classical.
This year’s popular artist series features timeless folk and country musicians like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris and Graham Nash as well as a two night performance from James Taylor. The series also includes jazz-pop fusion artist Job Batiste, obscure 90s rock band Barenaked Ladies and a special comedy performance by John Mulaney.
Tanglewood offers performances for film lovers. Starting out the season, Top Gun: Maverick in Concert performed by the Boston Pops calls all action lovers and fans of the 80s classic remake to join in the classical recreation of music from the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack. The summer will also feature selections from Star Wars, John Williams and two silent film projects.
The Berkshire performances will take place in two locations on the 500-acre grounds. The Serge Koussevitzky Music Shed has hosted Boston Symphony Orchestra performances since it’s 1938 establishment and expanded to hold events like pops concerts and plays. Opening in 1994, the Seiji Ozawa Hall hosts Tanglewood Music Center concerts, recitals and chamber music concerts.
