Break out the tie-dye for you and your furry friend – Woof Stock festival is back. Tri-Lake Community Alliance will host its annual Adirondack Woof Stock festival in Chestertown, NY, less than 30 minutes outside Lake George. Dogs and their owners can revisit the Woodstock experience on May 31 and June 1.

Woof Stock is a two-day event, featuring events like K9 police demonstrations, dock diving, and blessing of the animals. Shows by the Dynamo Dogs will showcase disc catching, high jumps, and hoop jumps. On Saturday, May 31 the festival will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a costume contest. On Sunday, June 1 events are held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a $100 prize hot dog eating contest.
Throughout the weekend, Adirondack Save-A-Stray will hold pet adoptions and groomings. Admission into the festival is a $1 donation to Tri-Lake Community Alliance, and dogs are free.
Following the Saturday Woof Stock event, attendees are encouraged to visit Woodstock Revisited held from 6 p.m – 9 p.m. at The Hub on the Mill Pond in Bryant Lake, NY. The event will feature Woodstock-era music, boat rides on the pond and vendors.
