The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO) has announced their 2025 concert series, taking place from local parks, to iconic venues across the Western New York region.

Founded in 1935, the BPO is a make up of professional and artistically excellent musicians, whose goal is to inspire and entertain the people of Buffalo-Niagara and more. Beginning July 3, the orchestra will embark on their annual concert series, presenting accessible concerts for the community, providing both free and ticketed events.
With an emphasis on classical music education and exposure, the BPO’s series will highlight rising local talent, acclaimed guest artists, and special performances by this year’s Celebration Of Music Education scholarship winners. The range of music performed will cover classical masterworks, film scores, and The Great American Songbook.

The BPO will begin their series at the 29th Annual Keybank Independence Night Celebration after the Buffalo Bisons vs Rochester Red Wings game, perfect for families and baseball fans.
On July 6th, the Orchestra will enchant the audience of the Ellicottville Summer Music Festival, performing The Magical Music Of Harry Potter. Lastly, presented by Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation, The BPO will perform Frank & The Great Ladies of Song at Buffalo Outer Harbor Terminal B.
There will also be a special post-series show on Sept.13, at the Artpark’s Mainstage Theater. There, the BPO will perform the famous opera The Flying Dutchman with the help from six renown vocalists, the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus, and cinematic projections.
Tickets to all performances can be found here. For more information on the BPO, visit here.
