WYLDLIFE Releases New Single Ahead of New LP, Plus Upcoming NY Show

Alternative band WYLDLIFE has released their new single, “Dizzy,” ahead of their upcoming LP sorted., to be released on May 16.

“Dizzy” gives a nod to the golden age of 70s punk from notable bands and sounds like Sex Pistols and The Stooges. WYLDLIFE’s raw energy and sense of rebellion can be felt throughout the new single through the band’s strong, dynamic guitar support for the vocals. Vocalist Dave Feldman gives an inside scoop on the new single, discussing its sense of nostalgia for themselves and for their listeners.

“In writing ‘Dizzy,’ we just wanted people to have that feeling of coming home from school in 1995, turning on MTV and hearing some “choooon” from the UK,” Feldman said. “Personally, I never want to lose that feeling or exit that headspace. We always told journalists ‘we love BritPop’ and we did it way before it was cool (again). Well here you go, folks: Here’s our love anthem to BritPop.”

Consisting of members Dave Feldman (vocals), Sam Allen (guitar), Spencer Alexander (bass) and Russ Barrnett (drums), the band will perform on May 17 at Bowery Electric for their hometown album release show of sorted. Rock band Ravagers and How Tragic will support WYLDLIFE for the event.
