The Music Matters is also hosting an exclusive CBGB-style audition showcase at Our Wicked Lady on the afternoon of May 3rd, hosted by The Music Matters Founder Marc Seligman. The audition showcase is free if you arrive before 2:30 with a ticket from Dice. Here is the link to the tickets from Dice.

May 3rd’s afternoon event will feature five emerging artists, providing a raw, energetic window into the next wave of local talent.

Throughout the weekend, there will be a unique “confessional booth,” giving fans the chance to share their stories, reactions, and memories, capturing the essence of the event and community. All footage will contribute to an ambitious full-length documentary, slated for release on DVD this fall, which will stitch together live performances and interviews to offer an intimate portrait of the music and community that keep New York’s indie scene alive.
