The audio and visual experience takes audiences through the music, history, imagery and culture of rock ‘n’ roll with actor/musician Kevin Bacon. With ARTECHOUSE’s cutting edge, 270-degree, floor to ceiling 18K-resolution digital canvas, the experience gathers over 1,000 photographs and 200 videos to feature over 300 iconic artists of the rock ‘n’ roll age.

“Bringing Amplified to New York City—where Rolling Stone has been based for decades—feels especially meaningful,” Rolling Stone CEO Gus Wenner said. “New York has been at the heart of so many important artists, so we’re thrilled to debut this powerful, immersive celebration of rock ‘n’ roll and its legacy here.”

The experience is a guided tour through the incredible history of revolutionary music and its effects on the world, brought by over 500 photographers and film directors, including Mark Seliger, Danny Clinch, Lynn Goldsmith, Janette Beckman and more. Following its New York City debut, the experience will continue to deliver its show at ARTECHOUSE Houston, starting May 9.

ARTECHOUSE NYC is a former century-old boiler room, now transformed into a cutting-edge digital art space beneath Chelsea Market. With industrial charm, the space creates a striking contrast between historic architecture and futurist design. ARTECHOUSE NC serves as a platform and a playground for creative directors in a city of innovation, discovery and artistic expression.
