The partnership program is an expanded initiative that deepens the festival’s commitment to supporting the greater Lake George region. This year, LGMF will donate 50% of all single ticket proceeds from select concerts to five local nonprofits and community organizations. Selected nonprofits include the Lake George Association (June 12), The Glen at Hiland Meadows’ “Memory Care” and The Conkling Center’s “On the Go Transportation Program” (June 13), the Lake George Land Conservancy (June 14) and the Lake George Battlefield Park Alliance (June 17).

“As a festival that’s deeply rooted in this community, we’re incredibly excited to launch our new Community Partnership Program in support of these fine non-profits,” Lake George Music Festival CEO Alexander Lombard said. “It’s an opportunity to give back, connect more meaningfully with our neighbors, and continue weaving our organization into the fabric of the community we love. Collaborations like this are what make our work so rewarding.”

In addition to its nonprofit missions, the festival, in partnership with Chestertown Rotary Clubs, is launching a new scholarship fund for local high school seniors pursuing music and the arts. 50% of the single ticket proceeds from the concert on June 11 will benefit the scholarship. The deadline for local students to apply for the scholarship is May 1.

The Lake George Music Festival features two weeks of chamber music and orchestral concert, highlighting new compositions and traditional masterworks performed by professionals and emerging artists.
