Round Hill Music Co., located on Greenwich Avenue in Greenwich, CT, is set for their grand opening in May.
The new music store brings together high-end guitars, vinyl records, apparel and lifestyle goods for musicians, collectors and fans of all ages. Created as a personal passion project by local resident, musician and music industry executive Josh Gruss, Round Hill Music Co. aims to bring design, craftsmanship and culture together in a unique and inviting space for those who enjoy music. The store is set in a location just two minutes away from the Greenwich train station at the heart of the town.
“Opening this store is a great way for me to connect with the community and offer an experience that I’m strongly connected to, while bringing back something that Greenwich Ave has been missing for a long time – a music store,” Gruss said. “The Round Hill Store is very much inspired by Manny’s, a famous guitar store on 48th street that I used to love going to as a teenager. It’s time Greenwich had a record store again. It’s unique to combine a guitar store with a record store and have two fun activities in one destination.”
Notable brands available at the store include Gibson, Fender, Paul Reed Smith, Taylor, Rock N Roll Relics and much more. The store will also feature a live performance stage for intimate concerts, which Gruss said will hopefully bring in performers from The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester.
Josh Gruss is the founder and CEO of Round Hill Music, a private equity firm dedicated to music IP investing. Since 2010, Round Hill Music owns and manages artists’ music rights to their songs, including Whitney Houston, Bruno Mars, Goo Goo Dolls, The Killers and many more.
