The Golden Oldies Spectacular is bringing a wave of nostalgia to Proctors Theatre in Schenectady on April 26 at 7 PM.

Headlining this exciting evening are Jay and the Americans, a beloved band whose career spans decades of chart-topping hits. They are known for unforgettable tracks like “Come a Little Bit Closer,” “Cara Mia,” and “This Magic Moment.” Featuring original members Sandy Yaguda and Marty Kupersmith, alongside vocalist Jay Reincke, the group remains a favorite.

Sharing the spotlight are The Vogues, known for their smooth harmonies and stylish performances. Hits such as “Five O’Clock World” and “Turn Around, Look at Me” made them a staple of the sixties music scene, and their induction into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame highlights their lasting impact.

Fans will also enjoy the charismatic energy of The Happenings, led by original frontman Bob Miranda. Famous for timeless hits “See You in September” and “I Got Rhythm,” their lively performances consistently wow crowds.

Adding to this unforgettable lineup are Charlie Thomas’ Drifters, renowned for classics including “Under the Boardwalk” and “Save the Last Dance for Me.” Their soulful harmonies have secured them a well-deserved place in both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame.

Chris Montez will open the night with his debut performance at Proctors Theatre. Known for hits like “Let’s Dance” and “The More I See You,” he brings an unstoppable energy to the stage. His set is sure to start the evening on a high note.
