Jon Lamanna, a rock/country artist born and raised in the Finger Lakes, has released his highly anticipated eighth single, “Amens.”
A heartfelt country/rock acoustic ballad, “Amens” tells the emotional story of a struggling relationship. The song showcases Lamanna’s vulnerable lyricism and strong emotions that can be felt through the song.
“I’ve always been drawn to songs that reflect the challenges we face in relationships…Amens’ is about that fragile moment when two people are at odds, but still holding on, hoping for redemption. It’s a vulnerable and honest reflection of what we go through when things aren’t easy but we’re not ready to give up just yet.”

Lamanna was the former lead singer of the rock band Cry To The Blind, but after their disbandment in 2022, Lamanna quickly made a name for himself as a solo artist. He often performs in locations throughout the Finger Lakes area, performing both original songs and covers.
Lamanna’s solo career has already gained him recognition with his first single, “Burnin’ Up,” and with “Amens,” he continues to establish himself in the industry and earn himself a place in the country/rock genre with his authentic storytelling and explosive sound.
