Boy Jr. Brings Gender Euphoria to Life in New Electro-Pop Single “Zitty Stardust”

New York’s own genre-defying artist Boy Jr. just dropped a wildly creative and empowering new single titled “Zitty Stardust”.

A blend of electro-pop, indie, and punk, the track beams with bright synths, glitchy percussion, and unapologetic confidence. Inspired by their own gender transition and the joy of embracing identity, “Zitty Stardust” turns online hate into glittery fuel.

“Last year, when I was a few months into taking testosterone, I started getting a lot of acne and a lot of mean comments online,” Boy Jr. shared. “One just said ‘Zitty Stardust.’ And that immediately went to the back of my mind as a potential song title. Like sorry, I know you really wanted to insult me, but that’s actually really iconic and cool.”

And The result became a vibrant, genre-bending anthem that radiates gender euphoria while flipping the script on cyberbullying. Even cooler: the percussion was created using their own testosterone supplies. This being body positivity and queer creativity at its most experimental.

From grassroots tours to viral videos, Boy Jr is the fearless, funny, and fiercely talented DIY artist we all need in 2025 – watch the video for “Zitty Stardust” below.
