Wild Adriatic Roars Back with First Album in Six Years

Upstate New York’s Wild Adriatic will release their first set of new music in six years on April 18. Their album comes with a release show at Putnam Place in their hometown Saratoga Springs.

Wild Adriatic

Wild Adriatic seamlessly blends its rock and roll core with a rich tapestry of influences spanning 60s and 70s blues and soul, creating a captivatingly timeless sound. A decade spent on the road playing 250 days a year whittled the band into sharp shape & cultivated an international audience with their combination of groove, grit, and guitar-heavy swagger.

No strangers to the stage, the band has embarked on countless stateside runs, several European tours, and appearances at festivals like Bonnaroo & Mountain Jam. This after establishing themselves with packed club shows across the Northeast, cultivating a core following in their early years and maintaining a legacy of musical perseverence.

Wild Adriatic

Written at soundchecks and writing retreats all over the world, and recorded in a studio apartment in Lake George during the pandemic, Wild Adriatic’s third studio album Wild Adriatic will consist of 11 songs, spanning across rock n roll, blues, and soul, is the result of nearly a decade of overthinking and collaboration lovingly ushered into the world.

“Streaming is a way of life now. We get it and we’re not going to rail against it… too much. Our new record, Wild Adriatic, will be kept off streaming platforms for the first bit of its time in the world. We’re taking a bet that folks like you who have supported us for the past 14 years will continue to do so by valuing music more than the corporations who run the bulk of the industry.”

The album release will offer a digital download, CD, vinyl, and other unique offerings like a bag of craft-roasted coffee or a handmade chocolate bar that comes with a download card.
