The acclaimed Americana trio, Tom Lindsay, Paul Jossman, and Michael Eck, will return to one of Albany’s most beloved performance spaces for an evening of music in support of a meaningful cause. Known for their interpretations of traditional American folk and gospel, Lost Radio Rounders will lead listeners through a setlist of time-honored spirituals, gospel blues, and acoustic hymns, bringing new life to timeless songs.

This performance marks the ninth collaboration between Lost Radio Rounders and Family Promise, a partnership rooted in shared values of community, compassion, and connection. The band’s return to the Old Chapel also carries personal significance. In fact, as lead vocalist and bandleader Lindsay recalls, “We love the acoustics and atmosphere of the old chapel so much that we recorded a live album, Heaven’s Radio, in that space in 2012.”

Admission to the concert is free. Additionally, donations are encouraged to benefit Family Promise of the Capital Region. This nonprofit organization, founded in 2015, helps families experiencing homelessness find stable housing and lasting independence. By combining case management, volunteer support, and community partnerships, the organization offers more than shelter. It provides a path toward long-term stability. Most families transition to housing within months and continue receiving support for up to a year.

The May 1 Lost Radio Rounders concert in Albany offers both a celebration of community and a reminder of music’s significant role in advocacy. For more information about the band, visit their website here.
