Syracuse International Jazz Fest Announces Star-Studded 2025 Lineup

The 39th season of the Syracuse International Jazz Fest will take place from Wednesday, June 25 to Sunday, June 29 at Downtown Syracuse and on the campus of Syracuse University.

This year’s lineup includes Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members The Spinners and Journey’s Steve Smith on Thursday, June 26, New Orleans icon Trombone Shorty on Friday, June 27 and music industry icon Todd Rundgren on Saturday, June 28. Rundgren will also be joined by NEA Jazz Master & Big Chief Donald Harrison Jr, Italian guitarist Matteo Mancuso and Sweden’s Gunhild Carling.

Jazz Fest will also feature two-time GRAMMY-award winner Steve Slagle and his quartet, Italian saxophonist Ada Rovatti and her quintet, the Orange Juice Syracuse University Student Jazz Combo, The Steelheads and Syracuse University’s Gospel to Jazz program. 

Most performances will take place at the JMA Wireless Main Stage in Clinton Square in Downtown Syracuse and the festival lineup also includes free performances nightly in Clinton Square Park. The festival will also feature many international artists, including performers from Cuba and England.
