Long Island black n’ roll miscreants Funeral Dancer is proud to announce the impending release of their second EP Fiends of the Outer Wave, out April 4.

Hailing from Long Island, Funeral Dancer crawled from the wreckage of Lotus Mortus in 2019 with a singular mission to fuse the band’s rotted and blackened roots with Thin Lizzy-style twin guitar harmonies, ‘80s metal hooks, and the technicality of extreme metal.
Ahead of their Fiends of the Outer, Funeral Dancer has released their vampiric lyric video “Manananggal”.

Recorded by the band and mixed and mastered by Kyle Miller (Conglaciation), Fiends of the Outer Wave is eight genre-blurring tracks of madness sure to leave corpse-painted purists and denim-clad headbangers throwing horns in unison. The band’s chaotic visual aesthetic was handled by Chilean artist Sing Wan Chong Li, whose collage-style artwork reflects the band’s sonic approach—layering different influences into one unholy package.
