Proctors and CapitalRep Announce Exciting 2025-26 Season Lineup

Proctors and Capital Repertory Theatre have unveiled their highly anticipated 2025-26 season lineup, featuring an impressive selection of Broadway hits and thought-provoking productions, including the 2024 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, The Outsiders.The upcoming season was officially announced during the annual Season Announcement Bash at Proctors on March 10th, featuring exciting preview performances from the upcoming shows.

The KeyBank Broadway Series at Proctors will feature seven major productions, beginning with the inspiring musical memoir of Neil Diamond’s journey to stardom A Beautiful Noise (September 23-28, 2025). Followed by Spamalot (January 6-11, 2026), the Tony Award-winning musical comedy based on Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

The beloved Rodgers & Hammerstein classic The Sound of Music (March 17-22, 2026) directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien. Water For Elephants (April 7-12, 2026) brings a poignant story of second chances set in a traveling circus, while & Juliet (April 28-May 3, 2026) offers a fresh take on Shakespeare’s heroine featuring popular contemporary songs.

2024 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, The Outsiders“(May 19-24, 2026), brings the classic coming-of-age story to the stage, and Moulin Rouge! The Musical (June 2-7, 2026) rounds out the season with a theatrical celebration based on Baz Luhrmann’s revolutionary film. Additionally, the Broadway blockbuster Wicked will return to Proctors (October 29-November 9, 2025) as a special event, with subscribers getting exclusive early access to tickets.

The Capital Repertory Theatre also announced its 2025-26 season lineup, which will be the first under incoming producing artistic director Miriam Wiesfeld, who will take over when Maggie Mancinelli-Cahill steps down in September. Their season begins with Becky Nurse of Salem by Sarah Ruhl (September 26-October 19, 2025), a contemporary story connecting to Salem’s witch trial history.

The holiday season brings Murder for Two: Holiday Edition (November 28-December 28, 2025), a festive version of the madcap musical mystery featuring composer and original star Joe Kinosian. Archduke by Rajiv Joseph (March 6-29, 2026) presents a dark comedy about the assassination that sparked World War I, while Dodi & Diana by Kareem Fahmy (April 24-May 17, 2026) offers a powerful examination of relationships and identity set against the backdrop of Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed’s story. The season concludes with Mystic Pizza (July 10-August 9, 2026), a musical adaptation of the beloved 1988 film featuring hits from the ’80s.
