Award-winning husband-and-wife blues duo Mark & Jill will perform at Caffè Lena in Saratoga Springs on Saturday, March 29th, bringing a unique blend of soulful originals, acoustic delta blues, and roots music.
Throughout their career, Mark & Jill have earned widespread recognition in the blues community. They have received multiple Eddies Music Awards for Blues Artist of the Year and twice won the Capital Region Blues Network Solo/Duo Blues Challenge. These impressive achievements have earned them spots at the prestigious International Blues Challenge in Memphis, where they performed among the world’s finest blues musicians.
Mark Tolstrup, a NY Blues Hall of Fame inductee, plays guitar with masterful precision and sings with compelling emotion, his technical skill and authentic delivery reflecting decades of dedication to the craft. Jill Tolstrup’s sultry, soulful vocals provides the perfect complement, adding remarkable depth and emotional range to their performances.
