High Fade Draws Buffalo in at The Caz

High Fade made a stop on their ‘Life’s Too Fast’ tour for a fast paced, intimate, packed show at The Caz in South Buffalo on March 3, part of their third tour in America.

On a harsh Monday night in Buffalo, High Fade was able to draw an incredible crowd and keep people dancing for the entirety of their 90 minute set. High Fade brought a lot of energy and heat for only being a trio: Harry Valentino (guitar/vocals), Oliver Sentance (bass) and Calvin Davidson (drums). High Fade showed off their pride in being Scottish by all sporting kilts.

High Fade took us on a genre bending  journey through their debut album, Life’s Too Fast and allowed for improvised connections, dance breaks, and crowd interaction to make the audience feel like this was their own unique version of their album.

They played some of their most well known tracks” ‘Burnt Toast and Coffee’, ‘Gossip’, and ‘Take me to the Floor’. On funky tracks like ‘Bone to Pick’, all of the audience danced to the left, right and the middle to help the band along. They finished with title track ‘Life’s Too Fast’ which is how the show felt; too fast.

High Fade continue their tour across the US until the end of March. Their next show is in Milwaukee at Vivarium on March 7, 2025. Be sure to catch them in these intimate venues during this tour as it feels like they will be playing on much larger stages next time they are in town.
