Fantastic Cat Announces Deluxe Album To Be Released In April, Plus Tour Dates

New York-based rock band Fantastic Cat has announced a new deluxe version of their latest record, Now That’s What I Call Fantastic Cat. Now That’s What I Call Now That’s What I Call Fantastic Cat will be available on April 11. They also released the new music video for “Some Things Never Change.”

The band sheds some light on the four member’s individuality and humor in the music video for “Some Things Never Change.” Communicating through text messages, the members go throughout their days discussing what should be included in the Fantastic Cat deluxe album. Despite their unserious back-and-forth, their music contrasts this. With themes of change, or sometimes the lack thereof, Fantastic Cat reflects on life’s mysterious and individual path for humans. Many of life’s mysteries, like romance and after death, have unique outcomes for each individual; its beauty, as Fantastic Cat sings, is something to appreciate.

“When we found out pop stars were using deluxe editions of their album to juice their stats, we knew we had to get in on it, too,” the band said during a recent interview with the Locust Lake Village Community Announcements Newsletter. “If all goes according to plan, we’ll be able to remain #1 on the Pocono Regional Adult Contemporary Chart for a 45th non-consecutive week, shattering Stroudsburg polka legend Lou Kowalczyk’s 1982 record.”

The band, featuring Brian Dunne, Anthony D’Amato, Don DiLego and Mike Montali, has made performances on CBS Saturday Morning and the Sundance Film Festival, sold out headline dates around the U.S. and Europe and featured a song in the Paramount+ series “Tulsa King.” Fantastic Cat has also announced tour dates for this summer, including performances in Kingston, Amagansett and Homer, NY.
